ACROBiosystems – Fc Receptor Proteins
The efficacy of a therapeutic antibody not only depends on the Fab fragment and its binding activity to the target antigen, but also depends on the Fc fragment and its interaction with key Fc receptors. The binding affinity of the Fc fragment towards FcRn (FCGRT&B2M) would predict the antibody’s half-life, while that between the Fc fragment and FcγRIIIa (CD16a) would influence the antibody’s ability to elicit ADCC (antibody dependent cell mediated cytotoxicity). Therefore, candidates must be tested against a panel of receptors during antibody engineering.
ACROBiosystems offers a comprehensive collection of recombinant Fc receptor proteins, including their common variants, to help expedite your mAb development.

Authentic Human Cell-Expressed Proteins
High Quality Materials
The consistency in purity and bioactivity is essential in the successful production of biotinylated proteins. All our proteins are evaluated by a variety of methods throughout the production process to ensure all relevant requirements are met.
- Purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE and SEC-HPLC
- Bioactivity validated in functional ELISA
- Endotoxin less than 1EU/µg by the LAL method
The purity of human FcRn (FCM-H5286) was greater than 95% as determined in a HPLC analysis
Biotinylated Proteins Available
The use of biotin labeling can make your assay development much easier. We offer a variety of ready-to-use biotinylated Fc receptors. These proteins are produced using our in-house developed labeling techniques, which confers high bioactivity and minimal batch-to-batch variation.
Biotinylated Human FcRn / FCGRT & B2M, Avi Tag (Avitag™) (Cat.# FCM-H82W4) coupled to SA coated sensor chip can bind Herceptin with an affinity constant of 2.24 μM as determined in a SPR assay (Biacore 2000). The data is generally provided by Biaffin GmbH &Co KG, Germany
Binding Activity Validated
The binding activity of our Fc receptors have been thoroughly evaluated by both SPR and ELISA analyses prior to launch.
Immobilized human FcRn (FCM-H5286) can bind human IgG1 with an affinity constant of 1 μM as determined in a SPR assay (Biacore 2000). The data is generally provided by Biaffin GmbH &Co KG, Germany.
